Hundreds of residents in Winnipeg's St. John's neighbourhood are waking up in the dark Thursday morning.
A power outage is affecting well over 1,000 customers in the area.
The outage is also impacting traffic in the area, knocking out traffic signals at several busy intersections along Main Street, including at Redwood and Mountain Avenues.

Motorists are encouraged to treat those intersections as all-way stops.
There is no word from Hydro as to what caused the outages at this time.
It is unclear when power will be restored.
