The Agra Risk Wheatland Kings unveiled their renovated dressing room ahead of the start of the regular season.
The room was unveiled at an anticipated private event on Wednesday (Aug. 20) at the Strathmore Family Centre, where Kings staff invited sponsors to see the new room.
"We poured a pretty heavy amount of capital into our facilities here at the family centre to ultimately build a new home for our hockey family," said Cody Holdaway, general manager of the Kings.
Some of the upgrades included a fresh coat of paint and an entertainment station for players to use during their downtime.

"Before, we were one of the worst facilities in the league, and now we have some of the best in Canadian Junior B hockey," added Holdaway. "I think team morale is going to be higher. They have something to be proud of."
The locker room also includes a winning bell donated by the Strathmore Fire Department. What makes the bell so significant is that it was previously a part of the original Strathmore Fire Hall.
The previous dressing room was built around 15 years ago.
