Carlyle RCMP are asking for assistance from the public in locating the driver of a white Dodge truck involved in a hit-and-run early Friday morning. 

The collision occurred at approximately 7 a.m. on Highway 9, just north of Alameda. 

According to the release, the white Dodge Ram was travelling southbound when it crossed the centre line and clipped an oncoming vehicle before leaving the scene. 

Police noted that there were no injuries reported in the collision, and the victim's vehicle remained drivable. 

Investigators are looking for a lifted white Dodge Ram truck with several distinctive features, including aftermarket white rims and wide tires. The truck will have a missing or severely damaged driver's side rearview mirror as a result of the collision. 

The Carlyle RCMP are asking the driver of the truck to contact them directly. They are also asking anyone who may have information about the white Dodge Ram or its driver to contact the Carlyle Detachment at 306-453-6707.
