The County of Grande Prairie is advising residents of a planned water service outage in the Hamlet of Bezanson on Monday, August 25, 2025, due to the ongoing water main and curb stop replacement project.

Water services will be unavailable between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. for households located within the red area shown on the outage map below. The Bezanson Truck Fill will also be unavailable during this time.

After the full shutdown is complete, households will experience brief, two to four hour service interruptions, during the day between August 26 and September 2, 2025, as households are connected to the new system. The contractor will contact affected households directly prior to any service interruptions.

The project began on July 15 and includes excavation, water pipe and curb stop installation, water service reconnections, and surface repairs. Residents are asked not to park near where work is taking place, use caution around construction zones, and follow any posted signage. Work is anticipated to be completed the week of September 2, 2025.
