Thousands of people dressed up in Old Ages garb to attend the Strathmore Medieval Faire and Artisan Market.

The event ran between Friday (Aug. 22) and Sunday, bringing a variety of activities and local vendors to the Strathmore Ag Grounds.

Highlights from the event include jousting, medieval combat battles by the Historical Armored Combat Sports Association, and Gaelic dancing lessons with Angus and Dolina.

The event has seen growing popularity since starting in Strathmore three years ago. Saturday had attendees lined down the Ag Grounds driveway and nearing Wheatland Trail.

Other attractions included a feast hall, a costume contest, and plenty of medieval-themed vendors.
