The Town of Biggar is urging residents to come forward with information after vandals targeted local recreational facilities early Sunday evening.
Tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts in the community were damaged, prompting a social media statement from the town condemning the actions. “This type of behavior is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of respect for our community,” the town said Monday.
Officials emphasized that the facilities are maintained for the enjoyment of all residents and encouraged anyone who witnessed suspicious activity to report it immediately. Tips can be directed to the Town Office, where residents are asked to speak with Erin, or to the Biggar RCMP.
