Roads cleared following crash on Highway 9

There was a serious car crash on Highway 9 on Monday (Aug. 25) night.

According to Airdrie RCMP, the crash was between several vehicles near the intersection of Highway 564. 

Traffic was closed in all directions as emergency workers responded and police investigated, with the roads being reopened at around 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

"A release with details about this collision is anticipated," wrote Airdrie RCMP in a news release.
