A serious traffic accident disrupted traffic on Saskatchewan Avenue West near Shindleman Way on Tuesday afternoon in Portage la Prairie.
The collision involved a single SUV that struck a set of traffic lights around noon.
At least one person was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The extent of the injuries is not known at this time.
Police, fire, and EMS attended the scene. A tow truck was also on scene to remove the damaged vehicle.
The eastbound lane of Saskatchewan Avenue West remains open, with drivers urged to proceed with caution.
The reason for the crash has not yet been confirmed.
