Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover near PR 352 and Road 68W on Wednesday afternoon, only to find the vehicle abandoned and its occupants missing.
Austin MB Fire Department was dispatched to the scene around 2:20 p.m., where they discovered a sedan resting on its roof. No one was inside the vehicle when firefighters arrived.

As firefighters worked to clear the vehicle, a passerby approached them and reported seeing five individuals flee the crash site, running through a nearby potato field and into a wooded area.
RCMP soon arrived on scene, and Austin firefighters assisted officers in a brief ground search. The group was not located, though one article of clothing was found during the search.

Later, a second witness reported seeing the group near the next mile road, and the RCMP took over the investigation. So far, they have not released further details or confirmed whether the individuals have been located.
