School officially begins at all Strathmore schools

Classes have officially kicked off at all schools in Strathmore.

On Tuesday (Sept. 2), school began at Strathmore High School, Westmount Elementary School, Wheatland Elementary School, George Freeman School, Crowther Memorial Junior High School, Brentwood Elementary School, and Trinity Christian Academy.

Carseland School is also set to start classes the same day.

Other schools in Strathmore, such as Sacred Heart Academy and Holy Cross Collegiate, began on Aug. 28. In Siksika Nation, students were welcomed back to school on Aug. 27.

As classes start, school zones will also go into effect across the area.
