Semi rollover closes road near Provost for several hours

A semi rollover closed a section of road near Provost for more than five hours Wednesday evening.

Provost RCMP said the crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Range Road 14, between Township Roads 382 and 384. The road was shut down while emergency crews responded and the vehicle was removed.

Traffic was limited to a single alternating lane for part of the evening before the highway fully reopened around 10:30 p.m.

Mounties thanked drivers for their patience and cooperation during the closure.

No details were released about injuries or what caused the rollover.
