The Winnipeg Police Service says that an 85-year-old Winnipeg man has been safely located.

Police had issued a Silver Alert just after midnight on Tuesday, saying that the man hadn't been seen since Noon on Monday. He had last been seen in the Sage Creek area of Winnipeg. 

Just before noon on Tuesday, the WPS sent out another release saying the man had been found safe.

The WPS issues a Silver Alert when a senior or vulnerable adult goes missing.
