Cecil Floyd Smith of Moose Jaw passed away on September 3, 2025 at the age of 91. He was born in Moose Jaw and grew up on the family farm near Archydal. He attended Summerside School in Archydal and Peacock High School in Moose Jaw. Cecil met his wife Helen in 1955, and they were happily married until Helen passed away in January 2018. Cecil worked for the CNR Section Crew for a short time, then worked at Palm Dairies in Moose Jaw as a milkman for 32 years. Before retiring, he worked as a caretaker for Moose Jaw Housing at Victoria Towers and High Park Towers. Cecil and Helen loved to travel and visit with family and friends and shared a passion for gardening. Cecil will be sadly missed by his daughter Cheryl (Larry) Berkan, granddaughters Kim (Shaun) Mack, Tara (Michael) Ede and Kayla (Kyle) Monette, great-granddaughter Makenna Monette and step-great-grandson Jacob Ede. A Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Rosedale Cemetery. Please meet at Cemetery gates at 10:15 AM.
