Construction underway in Carseland and Chestermere

Two areas of construction are taking place in Carseland and Chestermere. 

Wheatland County has notified Carseland residents of a temporary pause in water service on Tuesday (Sept. 9) as crews work to replace a fire hydrant located near Lausen Place.

Water service will resume once the repairs are complete. The county thanked residents for their patience during the disruption. 

In Chestermere, construction crews will be repainting the road lines along Marina Drive on Sept. 9. 

Drivers are not permitted to park on the roadway from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the work.

The city reminded drivers to use caution in the construction zones and to expect minor delays.
