One man is dead after being hit by a truck in Strathmore.
According to RCMP, the crash was on Sunday (Sept. 7) at 9 p.m. in the 900 block of Pine Road.
The victim, 24-year-old Dante Waterchief, a resident of Siksika Nation, was transported to a Calgary hospital, where he later died.
Following an investigation by the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit, 22-year-old Kyera Oldwoman, also a resident of Siksika Nation, has been charged with second-degree murder.
Oldwoman is scheduled to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Siksika on Thursday.
