The Klippers have played one home game in the Co-op Arena so far, a 3-1 win against the Humboldt Broncos

After opening their pre-season in the hoodoos back at the end of August, the Kindersley Jr. Klippers are set to welcome in the AJHL's Drumheller Dragons to the West Central Events Centre on Wednesday night for the team's pre-season finale.

The Klippers dropped that August 29 decision in Drumheller by a score of 4-0 but have rattled off wins in each of their three games since. Kindersley completed their Alberta road trip two days later with a 3-1 win against the Lloydminster Bobcats, then returned home the next day for a 3-1 win against Humboldt, and a week later went to Humboldt for another 3-1 win to boost their pre-season record to 3-1-0.

Not counting the games played in Alberta, 34 different Klippers skaters have taken the ice along with five goaltenders. The early game slate featured mostly young guns before mixing in some veterans for the trip to Humboldt, and likely tonight in the final tune-up before the regular season.

Anyone planning to attend should know tonight's game will once again be played inside the Co-op Arena starting at 7:30. Ice installation has just begun inside the Inter Pipeline Arena next door and is expected to be ready for the Klippers home opener against the Battlefords on Saturday, September 20, the second half of a home-and-home as the Klippers will head north to start the season Friday, September 19.
