Update at 11:08am, Wednesday, Sept 10: STARS has confirmed transporting one patient to the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, adding that the patient was in stable condition.
Initial story at 8:08am: Few details are available following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on Provincial Road 303.
La Broquerie Deputy Fire Chief Miguel Dubé says that around 6:40 p.m., fire crews, RCMP and emergency medical services responded to a rollover just east of Road 37E (Ekron Road).
It’s reported that a pickup truck left the road and rolled into the south ditch east of Friedensfeld Hall.
“A lone occupant of the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was transported by Stars to Winnipeg. A section of PR 303 was closed for a short time to allow Stars to land and work safely. La Broquerie was back in service just before 21h00.”
