RCMP investigating hit-and-run collision that left man seriously injured

Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation earlier this week.

Police say officers responded to a call around 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 8 about a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

RCMP, local EMS and STARS air ambulance attended the scene, where an adult male was found with serious injuries. He was transported to hospital by STARS.

The vehicle, described as a white SUV, did not remain at the scene.

North Battleford’s provincial General Investigation Section is now leading the investigation.

Mounties are asking anyone with information to contact RCMP at 310-RCMP or to report anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
