Innovation Saskatchewan is investing $25,000 in Startup Summit 2025, a one-day conference aimed at supporting early-stage tech startups in the province.

The event, hosted by Cultivator powered by Conexus, brings together founders, investors, and mentors to help Saskatchewan startups tackle challenges and grow their businesses. A summit mixer will also connect participants with the broader Prairie tech ecosystem.

“Startups are essential to the province's growing tech sector and we are committed to supporting actions that make it easier for Saskatchewan companies to build, grow and market their technologies,” said Warren Kaeding, Minister Responsible for Innovation Saskatchewan. “Startup Summit 2025 helps founders navigate through their biggest challenges and continue their journey to success.”

The summit features interactive sessions and workshops covering topics such as scaling processes, hiring and compensation, team building, and performance management. Fifty founders from across Saskatchewan are attending, exceeding expectations.

“Startup Summit is important to achieving our goal of cultivating 250 companies with more than $1 million in revenue by 2050,” said Laura Mock, director of Cultivator. “Bringing national thought leaders to Saskatchewan provides hands-on mentorship and accelerates founder growth right here in our province.”

Cultivator, headquartered in Regina, is Canada’s first credit union-led tech incubator. It supports founders through programs like the AGTECH ACCELERATOR, which provides access to mentorship, programming, connections, and capital networks. Since its launch in 2019, Cultivator has helped grow companies including Precision AI, Offstreet, and Ground Truth Ag.

Startup Summit 2025 takes place Sept. 11 at Cultivator Global Headquarters in Regina.
