Animal services seeks help as more cats arrive at shelter

Winnipeg Animal Services is asking for a helping hand. 

With an influx of cats staying in their facility, they are now in need of cat litter.

"We don’t usually have cats staying with us, but when we do, it’s just for a quick stopover before they head off to their new homes," said Winnipeg Animal Services in a post on Facebook. "While they’re here, we want to make sure they have everything they need to feel comfy—even if it’s just for a night."

Anyone interested in dropping off a box or two of cat litter can do so during regular open hours. 

The Winnipeg Animal Services building is located at 1057 Logan Ave.
