Traffic is flowing once again along the North Perimeter Highway, after a serious collision on Monday morning saw the westbound lanes shut down for several hours.
The incident happened sometime around 8 a.m., between Pipeline Road and McPhillips Street.
Emergency crews had closed the westbound lanes for several hours while personnel responded and police investigated the incident.
There is no official information available at this time regarding injuries or the number of vehicles involved. However, a caller to our morning show indicated they counted six vehicles involved.
The highway was reopened to traffic just after 11 a.m.
