The City of Moose Jaw is advising residents that tap water will be shut off for the season at the city’s dog parks starting the week of Sept. 21.

Parks and recreation crews have begun the process of winterizing parks as temperatures begin to fall. This includes turning off the water for the 2025-26 fall and winter season.

The taps will be shut off at the city’s two dog parks, located next to one another at 1500 High St. West, just southwest of the Yara Centre and bike park. Although the water will be turned off, the dog parks remain open year-round.

The city will notify the public when water service resumes in the spring.
