Wilkie RCMP probe thefts, criminal harassment, and unwanted persons

Wilkie RCMP dealt with several property crime complaints and ongoing investigations in the area between Sept. 9 and 15.

Police are investigating a stolen all-terrain vehicle and reports of stolen property. Officers also responded to a break and enter at a C-Can in Wilkie, but said there was not enough evidence to proceed.

A criminal harassment complaint is under investigation, while another complaint was resolved through mediation between two adults.

Police also received reports of unwanted individuals at residences on two occasions. Both matters remain under investigation.

In addition, RCMP followed up on a report of a business with an unlocked door and a report of an individual possibly in possession of stolen property.
