Residents of Victoria Beach were asked to stay away from the local community centre and ball diamond following a shocking discovery.
The Victoria Beach Police Service took to Facebook on Tuesday to alert the community that they had found what appeared to be a World War II-era bomb.
RCMP and the military explosive disposal unit were called in to assist the Victoria Beach Police Service.
Areas of the community were evacuated to safeguard everyone's safety.
The military explosive disposal unit conducted X-ray imaging, and it was confirmed that it was a modular practice bomb, which is designed to release smoke upon impact.
The unit seized the bomb and removed it from the community.
The Victoria Beach Police say that the incident is now fully resolved, and there is no further danger to the public.
