Construction continues in Chestermere

Rainbow Road in Chestermere remains under ongoing construction, with lane closures expected to last until mid-October.

The City of Chestermere has advised residents of lane closures along Rainbow Road, between West Merganser Drive and Chestermere Boulevard, from Friday (Sept. 19) to Oct. 17. 

The work will take place in three phases, with different lanes closed throughout the project to allow traffic to continue flowing. Two-way traffic will remain open.

Drivers are reminded to follow posted signage and exercise caution around flaggers.
