Kenora's Jeff "Gussy" Gustafson is going into day two of the 2022 Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite at Santee Cooper Lakes. He caught five fish for a total weight of 15 pounds and 13 ounces finishing in 47th place on day one. The top 47 anglers to weigh in today will continue on to tomorrow. Gussy currently is 16 pounds behind the leader Drew Cook who finished Day 1 with five fish weighing 31 pounds and 13 ounces.

Erik Kallgren just had a week he'll never forgot. And it doesn't appear to have fazed him one bit. The calm, cool Kallgren made 34 saves as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 for the rookie goaltender's second straight victory.
