The Moose Jaw Flying Fins swam away with 16 medals at the Regina Optimist Dolphin Invitational last weekend. 

Sixteen swimmers from Moose Jaw competed against over 200 swimmers from across the province. 

Elizabeth Colenutt and Colten Cushing led the team in personal bests, swimming 100 per cent lifetime bests at the meet. Colenutt was the Flying Fins female swimmer of the meet. 

Isabella Cama took part in her first-ever swim meet and had a good showing. Meanwhile, Leif Abrahamson was the male swimmer of the meet with seven lifetime bests. He ended up with a gold medal and three bronze medals. 

Xander Penner has a strong meet including shaving 23.48 seconds off his best time in the 50m breaststroke for the swim of the meet for the flying fins. 

Makaya Arnott picked up a pair of medals, grabbing silvers in the female 13-14 100m freestyle and the 400m freestyle. 

Damian Chartrand also won a pair of silver medals. He finished second in the male 16 and 0ver 50m breaststroke and the 100m breaststroke. 

Molly Mack won a bronze medal in the female 12 and under 100m backstroke and 400m freestyle. 

Mateah Purdy has a strong meet, winning six medals. She won three golds and three bronze medals.
