Skyler had many cousins and friends, too many to mention.

Our beloved Skyler was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He lived most of his life in Shoal Lake #40 First Nation. During his teen years, he attended Beaver Brae Secondary School as well as St. Thomas Aquinas for Grades 9-11. Skyler had a great passion for baseball he really enjoyed participating in the Right to Play program. Skyler and his team mates were awarded a trip to Toronto to watch a blue jays game. This was such a proud moment which he would often talk about. Skyler really enjoyed being outdoors canoeing, fishing and most recently spending countless hours playing basketball at the new school with his friends Justin, Kinew, Isaiah, Fabian and Kyra. Skyler grew a love and experience for carpentry. He was very ambitious and expressed how excited he was for the future, he was always talking about growing older and learning more about life. He would tell his friends that he can build them a house by himself because he was excelling in his carpentry course.

Skyler was a very special soul who was very caring and was always there for his family and friends. He was always telling stories and imitating scenes from movies, he had such a hilarious sense of humour. Skyler cherished every moment he had with the many friends he met, whether it was through school, sports and youth gatherings. He touched the lives of so many. He will always be remembered and missed for his infectious laugh and his warm and loving smile.

The Family of Skyler wishes to thank everyone for their heart felt condolences, support and love that they have shown through this very difficult time.
