April 30, 1940 – June 1, 2022

Aime Portier, a resident of Pinecrest Home for the Aged passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the age of 82.

He was predeceased by his parents Eileen and George, brother Aurele, sister Doreen, his life partner Margaret Nordal and his pet cat ‘Smoky”.

He is survived by his step-daughters Elene, Jackie and Lisa, as well as his nephew Kurt Foster.

Many thanks to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Staff who cared for Aime before he went to Pinecrest home for the Aged.  Many thanks to the Pinecrest Home for the Aged staff who also cared for Aime.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cat Shelter or It’s a Dog’s Life would be appreciated by the family.
