Shawn Thomas McLeod, of Kenora, Ontario, passed unexpectedly on June 27, 2022 in Ottawa, Ontario at the age of age 44.
Shawn is survived by his daughters, Serenity, Jersey, Charlie and Rylan, his father, David St. Croix (step-mom Janet Booth), his brother David McLeod (Renee Boucher), his sisters, Angelina McLeod (Noel Petit), Charlotte St. Croix, Emily St. Croix, his uncles, Daniel Kelly, Robert McLeod, Jim McLeod, Tim McLeod, his aunts, Brenda McLeod, Betty McLeod, and Diane McLeod, nephews, Addison, Noah and Cayden, nieces, Savannah, Annabelle and Lainey, his beloved Maureen Powassin, his uncles Gary St. Croix, Harold St. Croix (Valerie), Larry St. Croix (Mary), Rick St. Croix (Brenda), Randy St. Croix (Susan), Darren St. Croix (Rilly), Brad St. Croix (Lisa), aunts Cathy Gullons (Doug), Lori St. Croix (Russ), Lisa St. Croix, mother of his children Brianna Van dulmen and his many family members that loved him so very much.
He is predeceased by his grandmother Dorothy McLeod, and his mother Claudette McLeod.
Shawn was born in Kenora, Ontario on date April 18, 1978, He became a father and loved his four beautiful daughters. They were his world and proudest accomplishment. He always loved fishing, hunting and was a charismatic person. His passion for clothing and shoes carried into his adulthood.
Shawn enjoyed dancing and singing, his favourite car karaoke artist being Michael Bublé. Which earned him his nickname name Shawn Bublé. He was an outspoken and comedic person. A father, a brother, an uncle, a son. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A wake service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
Viewing will begin at 8:30 am on Friday, July 8, 2022 until the funeral service starts at 3:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
