All Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have ended for the immediate region, but severe and non-severe thunderstorm activity is still a possibility Monday evening.
According to Environment Canada, baseball size hail was reported with the storm that impacted the Stephenfield Provincial Park and Graysville area. Heavy downpours and strong winds were also associated with that particular thunderstorm cell.
Meanwhile, earlier in the evening, Tornado Warnings were issued for several municipalities including Grey and Dufferin, but were ended shortly after 6 p.m.
"The atmosphere remains unstable, and the warm and humid air which blanketed the region today is providing the fuel for storm development," explained CMOS Accredited Weathercaster Chris Sumner. "As a surface low pressure system continues to track slowly eastward, additional thunderstorm cells may develop in the coming hours and overnight."
As of 7:10 p.m., a Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for all of Southern Manitoba.
