(Sierra Strong) Jamie James
It's with great sadness we announce the passing of our daughter (Sierra Strong) Jamie James. Jamie was born December 18, 1996; she/he made their journey home to the creator on the evening of August 4, 2022. Jamie will be missed by her father Cecil James (Erin) and mother Lisa Strong (Reg Henderson), sister Nevada, brother Commanchee, sisters Kristen and Ansley Sinclair-Henderson and the rest of the family.
Jamie will be remembered for being a daughter, friend, sister, and cousin. She/he loved music, going to concerts and playing the guitar. She/he had a deep love for everyone in their family and friends, especially her sisters & brother. From a young age Jamie inspired loved ones to be brave, to explore and want to learn new things and skills. Jamie inspired loved ones to be greater, to want to improve themselves and was non¬judgmental. She/he would ask about their cousins and hoped everyone was doing good things.
Wake service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 beginning at 1:00 pm at the Dalles Community Hall. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 12:00 noon with interment to follow at the Dalles Cemetery.
