On October 12th, Morden Police issued a warrant of arrest for 40-year-old Bryan Roger Delorme for failing to attend Morden Police Service for identification on October 11th, 2022.
Meantime, officers arrested a man after attempting to pull over a suspicious vehicle.
Police explained, the vehicle did not stop, instead quickly speeding up before pulling into a driveway and the driver trying to flee on foot. The male driver was known to police for not possessing a valid driver's license, and was later located and arrested for Flight from Police and released on an undertaking to appear in court in December. He was also given a Serious Offence Notice and a ticket for Drive While Disqualified with carries a fine of $672 and a vehicle impound for 30 days.
Morden Police Service also issued a number of tickets last week, including one for Passing a Stopped School Bus, two for Improper Equipment, namely improper side window tinting, and ticket one for Passing an Emergency Vehicle Engaged in Prescribed Activity While Using Emergency Equipment, Failing to Move into A Farther Lane, as well as one ticket for Speeding (95 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone).
In addition to the tickets issued, an assault resulted in an arrest and Release on an Undertaking.
Open liquor was discovered in a vehicle leading to a ‘Fail’ reading on a Roadside Screening Device. The driver received a 30-day suspended license, 30-day impoundment along with a $700 fine.
Two other drivers last week, blew 'Warn' readings on the Roadside Screening Device, resulting in 72-hour license suspensions, 3-day vehicle impoundments and $400 fines for each of them.
