The Kenora Under 18 AAA Thistles have another loss under their belt. They played host to the Winnipeg Bruins, where they fell to a tight game 4-3.
Kenora led the first period 2-1, but that ended quickly when the Bruins scored 37 seconds into the second. Two more goals were added by each team in the third, and it was looking like overtime was on the horizon, but ultimately Winnipeg's Peyton Allard scored with 28 seconds left in regular play.
Kenora will next host a pair against the Parkland Rangers this weekend.

The St. Thomas Aquinas Saints host the court sports championship today with the Junior and Senior Boys' Volleyball teams and Senior and Junior Girls' Basketball teams facing off against the Rams.
