None of the Crusaders' players or staff were hurt when their bus crashed on Highway 2.

The Sherwood Park Crusaders team was involved in a multi-vehicle crash last week.
On Saturday (Nov. 5) while on their way to Blackfalds, the Crusaders team bus crashed on Highway 2. The teams says the incident was caused by poor winter road conditions.
Luckily, none of the players or staff were hurt.
The team stayed in Ponoka at the Centennial Centre until a replacement bus was sent to return them to Sherwood Park.
The town banded together to help the Crusaders, with one anonymous family even donating food to the team during their overnight stay in Ponoka.
The Crusaders sent out a release thanking the first responders, the town of Ponoka, their bus driver and others for the care and generosity they received during the incident.
