I am greatly saddened to say that Lorne Clifton has passed away November 2, 2022 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
But he had a great life he'd worked on the railroad in the 1970's and he'd survived the train wreck 1977 he went from there too being psychiatric nurse at the old McKellar in Thunder Bay for 10 years.
He had one child Danielle Clifton and two step children Owen Shapland, Krystal Shapland with Rosemary Kozak, Danielle has 6 children Owen Clifton, Nicholas Clifton, Anna Marie Clifton, Serena Clifton, Alice Marie Clifton and Quentin Chukra. Alice-Marie and Quentin's dad Steve Chukra (Pantera Steve) was a friend then a son in-law Steve and Danielle were together 12 years.
Lorne loved to go camping, boating/fishing and he was really passionate with his gardening as one of his Hobbies, one of the true hippies and free spirited man that will be greatly missed, now he's rocking on with some loved ones and friends, so what Lorne would say is “Rock on Hoochie Coo”.
A come and go celebration for Lorne will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Kenora, Ontario.
