Pamela Bergermann
October 14, 1981- December 6, 2022
Pamela Rene Bergermann, daughter, mother, sister, and friend to many passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022, after a long-fought battle with cancer. She was born October 14, 1981- the middle child of Eugene and Mary (née Duke) Bergermann. Pam grew up in Muenster, Saskatchewan where she attended Muenster School from K-12 and continued with adult life in the same community. She eventually met her partner Joe and had three beautiful girls. Pam loved the girls deeply and developed cherished memories together over time. As a child she was soft spoken and very loving. She had a deep affection for animals-especially cats-of which she had many throughout the years. After graduating high school Pam worked at Michel’s Industries as an Industrial Seamstress, at the Bella Vista Inn with housekeeping staff and for the last 10 years was nightshift supervisor at Caleb Retirement Village. Whatever the job, Pam was never afraid to get her hands dirty and always got satisfaction from a job well done. At her last job at Caleb, Pam enjoyed the personalities of all the elderly who took up residence there and would pride herself on helping them out and “going the extra mile” for them. Time spent around her house was always enjoyable. The past few summers Pam enjoyed setting up the large backyard pool and trampoline for the girls and their friends and enjoyed the friendly chaos that ensued. After being ill for almost 7 months, the official diagnosis of Pam’s terminal cancer came on New Year’s Eve 2021. She put up an extremely courageous battle over the past year, and we take comfort that she is now free of all pain and at rest. Pam will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family; partner, Joe Schmeiser and three daughters Shelby, Taylor, and Carly; her parents Eugene and Mary (née Duke) Bergermann; brother, Lee (Tracey) Bergermann and daughters Mikaela and Mackenzie; sister, Natalie (Karl) Senko and daughter Rudy. She was predeceased by all her grandparents; Tom and Eileen (née Rule) Duke and John and Clara (née Draude) Bergermann. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Humboldt District Hospital and Home Care for taking care of Pam. As well as Cameco Corp/Sask Cancer Foundation and the Roughriders Football Organization personnel and all involved with the Touchdown 4 Dreams Program. The funeral vigil prayer service was offered at Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel on December 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., celebrated by Fr. Demetrius. Others taking part were: Carol Bergermann and Donna Lee Bergermann, scripture readers; and Lee Bergermann and Natalie Senko, eulogists. Andrew Bergermann, David Bergermann, Kim Bergermann, Jeff Bergermann, Dale Bergermann and Michelle Therres were active pallbearers; and honorary pallbearers are “All those who shared in Pamela’s life”. Interment followed at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Muenster, SK., and the memorial luncheon was held in the Muenster Community Hall. Memorial donations may be directed to Pam Bergermann’s Children Trust, PO Box 245, Muenster, SK, S0K 2Y0.
