Trudy Violet Munroe, age 85 passed away peacefully December 10, 2022, in the Moose Jaw Hospital. She was born March 13, 1937, in Moose Jaw. She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life George Munroe in 1955, who preceded her death in 1988. Later married Pete Bertolotti in BC, divorced and came back to Sask.
Mom lived most of her life in Moose Jaw. She went to Empire School then later to Technical School. She worked as a nurse aide at the Training School, then later at St. Anthony home. Mom loved animals, horses, dogs, cats, birds. She enjoyed the sound of coyotes or wolves howling. There was nothing better than sitting on a step with a cup of coffee. She loved to fish, enjoyed crafting, western movies, and the mountains.
Trudy and George raised three daughters Carolyn (David), Melissa (David), Shawna-Leah (Harry). Her grandchildren Jaime (Reid), Justin (Ashley), Amanda (Todd), Matthew (Melinda), Heather (Greg), Hollie, Hayden (Rebecca); and great grandchildren Trigg, Quinn, Tucker, Cooper, Charlotte, Emma, Aretta, Giovanni. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Theodore and Violet Elinsky, in laws Alexander and Pearl Munroe, sisters Carol, Betty, Jackie, brother Doug, brother in laws Lyle, Jim, Bill, Art, Melvin, Keith, Bob, sister in laws Doreen, Lila. Left to mourn are her sisters Lee and Wanda, brother Ted, sister in laws Diane and Alice as well as many nieces and nephew
A private family service will take place at a later date.
