Altona police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection to a Halloween night robbery at the Domo Gas Mart in town.
Officers were called to a home on Saturday regarding an unrelated matter, where they recognized the man. He was arrested and remanded into custody on several charges related to the robbery, as well as charges out of the Winkler Police Service for a separate incident.
A 25-year-old woman at the home was also arrested on the strength of a warrant issued by Winkler police. She was turned over to the neighbouring police department and remanded into custody.
Meantime, two men were arrested last Thursday after they were caught breaking into the Prairie View Elevator Museum in Plum Coulee.
Altona police officers were called to the museum just before 2 a.m., where they found the two men inside.
The pair were arrested without incident, and released with a court date in February.
