The Humboldt Broncos face the Flin Flon Bombers on home ice tonight at the EPA. The Broncos have shored up the personnel between the pipes with a pre-deadline acquisition.

The Broncos have signed 2003 born, free-agent goaltender Jared Picklyk from the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL.

“We are excited to add a goalie with the experience that Jared has,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott Barney. “He’s come highly recommended, and we believe we have solidified ourgoaltending tandem with Picklyk and Motew.”

Picklyk brings 40 games of WHL experience to the Broncos, where he compiled a 14-14-4 record. The 6’3 goaltender was drafted 148th overall by the Hurricanes in 2018.

The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Jared and his family to the organization and community.
