Members of your Dryden GM Ice Dogs will be hard at work over the next couple of weeks – both on the ice and in the kitchen.
The Ice Dogs have announced their new Icing on the Puck fundraising campaign, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Members of the team will be decorating ‘Puck Packs’ of two-bite brownies by the dozen and delivering them to residents, businesses and organizations on February 13th and February 14th – similar to a high school candy gram.
“We really wanted the Ice Dogs to get involved in the community and get out to businesses and organizations in our area. We thought what a fantastic way to also raise some money!” explains Fundraising and Community Events Coordinator with the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, Lori Russell.
Russell says the Ice Dogs have been out delivering over 100 posters about the campaign around town, as the team is challenging Dryden to ‘pay it forward’ and donate a Puck Pack to someone who has helped you out or shown you some kindness.
“We’re really hoping the icing on the puck campaign is a great way for people in our community to pay it forward, while letting the Ice dogs take part in that," adds Russell.
We’re challenging local organizations to send puck packs to folks that have given them a hand, a customer, or to friends and family!”
Pre-orders are now live and can be made by texting 807-221-6335.
You’re asked to include your name or your business’ name, the number of puck packs you’re ordering, and your preferred delivery date of the 13th or 14th.
The cost of $15 per pack, and the pre-order deadline is January 30th.
