Robyn Silvernagle and Team Saskatchewan, dropped an 11-6 decision to BC's Clancy Grandy on Sunday afternoon at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops.
Saskatchewan fell behind early after BC picked up four in the second end, but Silvernagle cut the deficit in half with a deuce in the third end and picked up two more in the fifth end after forcing Grandy to a single in the fourth.
After forcing BC to another single in the sixth end, Saskatchewan tied the game up with two in the seventh, but Grandy scored another four-ender in the eighth end and stole one more in the ninth to put it away.
After three draws in Pool A, Saskatchewan sits at 1-2 and in a tie with PEI for sixth, with the top three moving on to the championship round starting on Friday. Defending champion Kerri Einarson leads the pool standings with a 3-0 record after defeating Kaitlyn Lawes' wild card team 10-9 in an extra end on Sunday afternoon.
In the morning draw, Jennifer Jones and Team Manitoba defeated Meghan Walter and Wild Card #3 12-5 in eight ends, and Kerry Galusha and her rink from the Northwest Territories upset three-time champion Rachel Homan 8-4 to stay unbeaten and in a tie with Northern Ontario's Krista McCarville on top of the Pool B standings.
Saskatchewan will take on Laurie St-Georges of Quebec in their next game on Monday afternoon.
