Robyn Silvernagle and Team Saskatchewan, with Swift Current's Kelly Schafer playing third, lost both their games on Tuesday at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops, BC, falling 8-3 to Kaitlyn Lawes and Wild Card #1 before dropping a 10-3 decision to Kerri Einarson and Team Canada.

In the morning draw, Silvernagle forced Lawes to one in the third end after the first two ends were blanked, but the team from Winnipeg would steal four points in the next four ends to take a 5-0 lead after seven. Saskatchewan would get on the board with three in the eighth, but Lawes wrapped up the game with a three-ender in the ninth.

In the afternoon, the defending champions from Gimli, Manitoba, scored four in the second end, three in the fourth and two in the sixth while limiting Silvernagle to singles in the third, fifth and seventh ends before the game was conceded in the eighth.

The two losses dropped Saskatchewan to a 1-5 record and eighth place in Pool A, and they have been eliminated from playoff contention with two games remaining and the top three teams moving on to the championship round. Einarson leads the pool standings with a 6-0 record with Christina Black and Team Nova Scotia (4-2) in second and Quebec, Alberta, Wild Card #1 and BC in a four-way tie for third at 3-2.

Saskatchewan wraps up the event with a game against Brigitte MacPhail and Team Nunavut on Wednesday morning before taking on Suzanne Birt and PEI in their last game on Thursday.
