Advanced voting has begun in Alberta for the provincial election.
Starting on Tuesday (May 23) and ending on Saturday, advanced voting locations are open around the area leading up to election day on Monday.
In Fort Saskatchewan, residents can vote in advance at the Lakeview Inn and Suites on 88 Avenue. Advanced voting is available from Tuesday until Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
As for residents of Strathcona County, there is one advanced voting location at the Sherwood Park Mall, and another at the Ardrossan Recreation Complex. Both are also open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sturgeon County has a location at the Gibbons Community Cultural Centre, open only on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
An estimated 700,000 to a million Albertans are expected to vote in advance for the 2023 election.
