A second RCMP Musical Ride has been added in Strathcona County.
The 150th Musical Ride is slated to appear in Ardrossan on June 17, but a second demonstration has been added at Fultonvale School on June 15.
This demonstration will take place in the fields behind the school and will start at 7 p.m.
Attendance for both of the events is expected to be high so the county is strongly encouraging people to pre-register.
Wristbands will need to be reserved for the June 17 event in order to deal with space constraints. Those can be gathered at county recreation facilities and the Bethel Transit Terminal.
Both events are free to attend.
No on-site parking will be provided at either of the events, though a free park-and-ride service will be operating from the Bethel Transit Terminal.
The Musical Ride is a storied practice among the RCMP and includes a troop of 24 RCMP members on horseback performing cavalry drills set to Canadian music.
