The Fort Saskatchewan municipal census has been extended a few more days.
In a release on Thursday (June 1), the city announced that they would be extending the census until Sunday.
"We're just trying to get everybody accounted for," said Sheryl Exley, a legislative officer with the city. "We're taking those extra days to allow residents, if they hadn't had the opportunity to input their census online, they still have that opportunity until June 4 at midnight."
The city, and other municipalities province, is seeing a bit more difficulty in getting a municipal census done as fast as it would like.
At the moment the census has seen about 94 per cent of residents respond to it. Exley hopes that these extra few days will be able to push it to 100 per cent.
Residents should be on the lookout for enumerators coming to their doors as they make a final push to get everyone included in the census.
Even if you lost your access code, another can be provided by the city if needed.
If, for whatever reason, you miss an enumerator this weekend, you can call Exley directly for help at 780-992-6154.
"I would be more than happy to provide an access code for them to complete it online."
