Morden Police catch more speeders on local roadways

Morden Police had a busy 2-week period with numerous tickets issued under the Highway Traffic Act, including 8 tickets given to motorists with a heavy foot.
    
Fines for speeding ranged from $246 for driving 25 km/hour over the posted speed limit.
    

The biggest fine, a ticket of $482 was given to another motorist clocked going 133 km/hour in a 100 km/h zone.

Meanwhile, five tickets were given for driving an unregistered vehicle, one ticket for disobeying a traffic control device, and 3 tickets for not wearing a seat belt while driving.
    
A ticket for trespassing was also issued, which carries a fine of $672.
