Three walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinics are being held today in the Northwestern Health Unit’s catchment area.

Kenora’s clinic will be held at the Recreation Centre, Dryden’s is being held at the Memorial Arena and Rainy Rivers’ is at the Rainy River Highschool. The three clinics will run from 1 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

All residents over the age of 12 are eligible for their first dose of the vaccine, while residents over the age of 80 are eligible for their second dose.

Coming up, Kenora will host another walk-in clinic at the Rec Centre on June 5 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Clinics are also scheduled for June 3, 4 and 5 in the St. Francis School in Fort Frances between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The NWHU reminds the community that you may have to wait outdoors to ensure social distancing, and you’re asked to dress for the weather and bring a snack.

The clinics operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. But anyone over the age of 12 who would rather book an appointment is asked to visit or Ontario's Vaccine Booking site or call 1-833-943-3900.
