The Northwestern Health Unit has announced its weekly vaccine report. As of Monday, the combined vaccination percentage of people 18+ across the region is 69.9 per cent.

The Kenora Health Hub ended the week with a vaccine percentage of 70.8, Fort Frances led the pack at 74.3 per cent vaccinated, Dryden at 74.1 per cent, Atikokan at 73.7 per cent, Sioux Lookout at 68.5 percent, Emo with a percentage of 67.3 per cent. Rainy River at 59.5 per cent and Red Lake rounds out the pack with 48.4 per cent.

The NWHU has administered 59,186 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to date.

Tomorrow, Fort Frances and Sioux Lookout will be hosting a walk-in clinic from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 10, 2021, the health unit will be hosting a walk-in clinic in Fort Frances and Machin from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and in Kenora from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday, June 11, 2021, the health unit with be hosting a walk-in clinic in Dryden from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and in Kenora from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, June 12, 2021 the health unit will be hosting a walk-in clinic in Dryden from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and in Sioux Narrows from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

These are first and second dose clinics. Anyone 12-years-old and older is eligible to receive their first vaccine and anyone born in 1951 or earlier or that received their first dose on or before April 18, 2021, is eligible for their second dose.
