Ag in the Classroom partners with AG DAYS to share Ag career options to students

A very important initiative for Manitoba AG DAYS is bringing agriculture to life for our young people.  And one way Ag Days does this is through Agriculture in the Classroom, with junior high students have a morning tutorial on the Ag industry, and then follow a series of clues throughout the Keystone Centre in the afternoon to solve a puzzle. All the while they're learning more about all the amazing facets of the agriculture in our province, in our country, and across the globe.

Enjoying the outdoors and learning new skills with MWF

The Manitoba Wildlife Federation has a very successful 2023 with all their programming, clinics and events!

With approximately 90 active affiliate clubs across the province, and over 15,000 members, the MWF represents a large population that loves the outdoors by way of hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, hiking and everything in between!

Streamlining online auctions brings accolades to aucteeno

Remember back not that long ago when community came together at Farmer Brown's farmyard for his auction sale, and two auction rings would rotate throughout the yard, the larger equipment featured in one ring, and the smaller pallets and bundles in the second ring?

And who can forget the conversations with your neighbors over the burger, pie, and coffee! Or a friend you haven't seen for some time!  "How's it goin'? How're the kids?"

Covid-19 changed all that!

Peer-to-peer Ag info sharing through centralized website

Each year the panel of judges at Ag Days' Innovation Showcase scrutinize, dissect, interview the creators and weigh the benefits of each entry; how does this innovation benefit the Ag industry as a whole?

This year the new online peer-to-peer help-mate website Combinesettings.com placed first in this week's Ag Technology category.

Father-son team, Pat and Trevor Scherman, brought two generations of experience and ingenuity together first with their SCHERGAIN drop pan, affixed behind a combine to measure the amount of loss during harvest.
